The Truth About Global Domains International Is GDI a Scam?That's what a lot of people are wondering. And the true answer of course is no. I think the reason that some people wonder if GDI is a scam is because of the claims they've heard, about how much money can be made with GDI. And the fact is, most of those claims are true. I haven't read them all so I can't attest to them all but GDI is a business you can start for only $10 a month and be making a very nice monthly residual income in a short period of time. The problem many people have when they sign up for the GDI income opportunity is that they get caught up in the mentality of thinking all they have to do is show it to their family and friends, who will all sign up and then show it to their family and friends, who will all sign up and then show it to their family and friends, who will all sign up and well, you get the picture. In a perfect world that's all you would have to do to make a six figure income with GDI, but we don't live in a perfect world and most people are skeptics. Especially family and friends :o) Whenever you join a multi-level marketing business such as GDI, the last people you want to try to recruit are family and friends. In fact I wouldn't even tell them about it until they ask, "how are you making all that money?" Many people market GDI as a "get-rich-quick" opportunity with ads that try to convince people that they will be making a 6 figure income in no time without doing any work, and that is the hardest way to build a downline with GDI, because even though you might get a lot of sign-ups at first, not many of them will stay because they will soon learn that it isn't that easy. Sure, you can make some nice bonus money short term because GDI pays $100 for every 5 people you sign up in one week, but if they all eventually quit then you don't get any residual income which is the main concept of earning the big bucks with GDI. Big bucks that come in monthly for life. The only way to earn the residual income for life is by building a downline that will stay. And the only way to get them to stay is to help them build their own downline, because if they aren't making money they will not stay. If you are not sure how the residual income works with GDI, it's like this: GDI pays you $1 per month for every person in your downline down to 5 levels deep. Below is how much your residual monthly income would be if you signed up only 10 people on your first level, and then they each signed up 10 down to your fifth level. 1st Level - You sign up 10 = 10 That's a total of 111,110 people in your downline. That would mean that your monthly residual income of one dollar for each of them would be a total of $111,110.00. THAT'S MONTHLY INCOME FOLKS! That's more than most people make in 2 years, and it's that kind of money making potential that gets people excited to join GDI, but the problem is, once they are signed up they don't know what to do. So they ask their upline, who also doesn't know what to do and so they are simply told to "introduce it to their family and friends" with the concept that it will just snow ball from there, as portrayed in the second paragraph of this page. How To Make BIG Money With GDI The most important thing to remember, is GDI is NOT a "get-rich-quick" system. It takes work, and the first thing one needs to realize is that the bonuses are not the most important part of GDI. Sure, it's the fastest way to get paid if you can recruit enough people, but remember, the big money comes from building a huge downline, not working for the weekly bonus money. To make $200 in bonus money with Global Domains International, you would need to recruit a minimum of 10 people in that one week. And the bonus money is a one time payment, it's not residual, meaning you won't get another $200 for recruiting those same 10 people. And if you can't show them how to get people to sign up under them they will quit and there will be no residual income at all. But on the other hand, if you recruited only 10 people, say 2 per week for 5 weeks, and then quit trying to get more sign ups on your first level but instead spent your time teaching and helping those first 10 people to get 10 people signed up under each of them, you would have a total of 110 people in your downline which would be a monthly income of $110. And if your first level each helps and teaches their 10 to do the same thing it will snowball over time and a 6 figure monthly income becomes a reality. How To Recruit Your First 10 There are several websites that you will get free when you join GDI. They are very nice splash pages intended to get people excited to join GDI for the free trial and start making money, but in order for people to see your splash pages you have to do some work to get them their. The first thing GDI will tell you when you sign up is to show it to your family and friends, but as I mentioned above, those are not the people you want to show it to. The people you want to show it to are people who are already looking for a money making opportunity and that is where most people fail. They don't know how to get those kinds of visitors to their splash pages. How To Get The Right Visitors Driving the right kind of traffic (targeted traffic) to a website is the key to success online no matter what you are promoting. If you are selling "Computer Software", then you would be wasting your time to get people who are looking for "Pet Supplies" to visit your website. You want visitors who are looking for "Computer Software", because those are the people most likely to buy from you. There are many ways to drive free targeted traffic to your splash pages, some of which are particularly easy and others take more work. The key though, is taking action. Remember, your goal should be to recruit 10 people over a period of time, not 10 a week. It is much easier to recruit 1 or 2 per week than 10 a week, and then taking the time to help them do the same thing will ensure that they will stay, which in turn guarantees your residual income that will continue to grow week after week. Lose The Get-Rich-Quick Mentality If you are willing to put in a little work getting the right kind of visitors to your splash pages, and work towards building a long term residual income without the get-rich-quick mentality, then I can show you how you can get 1 - 2 sign ups every week just like clockwork, but it will take dedication. You will need to put in at least 1 hour per day doing what I tell you to do to get the targeted traffic you need, and if you do, you will succeed. 1 or 2 Per Week Not Appealing To You? GDI is a real money producing machine. It takes time to build, but at only $10 a month it can become the best investment you'll ever make. Now 1 or 2 sign ups a week will not get you any bonus money, but if everybody does that you will be making a lot of money over time. Below is a picture showing what your downline will look like in 10 weeks if everyone signs up only 1 person per week, which is fairly easy to do with a little work.
If the above chart is confusing, let me explain. You are at the top left. You sign up 1 person in week 1 on your 1st level. Then in week 2 you sign up another one now totaling 2 on your 1st level. You sign up another in week 3 totaling 3 people and so on until you have 10 people on your 1st level by week 10. 2nd level. The first person in your 1st level signs up 1 in his first week making 1 person on your 2nd level in week 2. Then the 2 people on your 1st level from week 2 each sign up 1 person making that 3 people on your 2nd level during week 3. Then the 3 people on your 1st level from week 3 each sign up one now totaling 6 people on your 2nd level during week 4 and so on until you have 45 people on your 2nd level by week 10. So as you can see, by only signing up 1 person per week for 10 weeks and teaching your downline how to do the same thing, you would already have a monthly income of $637.00 for a business that is only costing you $10 a month to run.
The next picture shows how much your monthly income would be if this continued for another 10 weeks.
Now as you can see, if you and everyone else in your downline only signs up 1 person per week during your first 20 weeks you would have a residual monthly income of $21,699.00 So, is GDI a scam? Only those who sign up with the get-rich-quick mentality and neglect to help their downline, but instead concentrate only on getting hundreds of sign ups per month on their first level for the bonus money would think so. And those who believe all they have to do is show it to their family and friends might think it's a scam because that does not work either. To get sign ups it takes steady work driving targeted traffic to your GDI splash pages and then helping your downline to do the same. That is teamwork, and teamwork is the only way to make multi-level marketing work.
